Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has approved all the divisional posts for the new Koh-e-Suleman Division. He made the announcement at a press conference in North Dera Bugti.

He said officers and staff will be appointed soon, so that the division’s offices can start working and people can get government services close to home.

Smaller units, closer government

The Chief Minister said smaller administrative units are needed so that people can reach government offices easily and the administration works better. As part of this, development work has begun to make Rakhni a model division for Balochistan.

He said every development project will be carried out with transparency, quality and merit.

Law and order

Sarfraz Bugti praised the security forces for acting in time to stop a terrorist attack in Gwadar. He said the sacrifices and brave actions of the Pakistan Army, the Frontier Corps and the police in the fight against terrorism are a matter of pride.

He said the actions of the security agencies against anti-state elements deserve praise, and all the agencies concerned are doing their duty to keep the peace.

The Chief Minister said that since August there has been a fall in terrorist incidents in Balochistan, which is a good sign for law and order. The government, he said, will keep working for lasting peace, basic services for the people and faster development.
